Madeira is the most epic island I've visited. It's volcanic and charming with a landscape that feels from out of this world! This island has healing powers, it gives you SO MUCH. The Portuguese people also have the kindest souls and welcome you with open arms. 

This paradise makes it THE perfect location to host my 2023 travel photography retreat!

The Madeira retreat has a longer format so we can explore every corner of the island, we will get immersed in the culture and be charmed by the breathtaking scenery.

We'll visit Ponta de Sao Lourenco, Porto Santo,  Porto Moniz Natural Pools (imagine infinite pool with ocean water!), Sao Vicente Cave, Seixal Beach (with black sand!), Monte Palace Tropical Garden, Pico do Arieiro (we'll walk ABOVE the clouds!), Levada Walks, and more! 

You'll get to experience and photograph these EPIC locations! This retreat will fill your soul, warm your heart, inspire, and empower your art!

What will the experience be like?

 
Only 4 photographers & Andre. This will be an intimate, empowering, and soul-filling experience
  • We'll discover the whole island, you'll experience every breathtaking corner, and will shoot at epic beaches, on top of mountains, waterfalls, and more!
  • 3 Family Styled Sessions
  • We'll plan to take beautiful portraits of each other in those EPIC locations! Yay for gorgeous headshots to be used in your marketing! 
  • When we are not in touristic mode exploring or dining, we'll deep dive into editing, client experience & storytelling
  • The small format allows for plenty of 1:1 opportunities, we'll be able to chat about your business and identify opportunities for growth!
  • Rich & colorful Fine Art editing techniques. I'll help you achieve the look you're after! 
  • The in-and-outs of light. Shooting in these epic locations is challenging, you'll be able to master direct light, backlight, blue hour, harsh, or low light to achieve emotional captures with amazing skin tones! 
  • All Airbnb meals & snacks in addition to coffee & red wine. You can bring anything extra that you love! :)
  • Lodging at a charming Airbnb in Madeira, Portugal 
  • During every styled session, I'll share my camera settings and thought process. With this small group of only 4 photographers, you'll have plenty of time to NAIL every angle and light scenario shooting side by side with me.
  • Private Attendee Facebook Group. Yay for connecting and bonding before we hug in person!
  • I'll rent a car and the 5 of us will discover the island together, so many adventures to come from poetic beaches to walking above the clouds! I'll pick/drop you off at the airport :)
